Lisa Gianelly

Lisa Gianelly, Esq. is a Senior Fellow at Conservation Law Foundation (CLF), where she works on land use and environmental matters related to the Allston Multimodal Project, the project that will replace the Massachusetts Turnpike viaduct in Allston and create a new commuter rail station in the former Allston railyard.

Lisa began her career at WilmerHale, where she practiced in both the Real Estate Department and the Commercial Law Department, before moving to the Property and Finance Department at Nixon Peabody. At both firms and as a board member at the Lawyers Clearinghouse, she was able to pursue her interest in affordable housing. She pivoted away from law to take over the helm of a small history publishing company, which she continues to run part-time, and has enjoyed her recent return to working as a lawyer at CLF. She holds an A.B. in European History from Harvard College and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
